I hate being cold. This time of year I can definit

I hate being cold. This time of year I can definitely feel more like I want to be under a cozy puffy blanket than in workout clothes but warming up my body with yoga, strength and resistance training is something I actually do enjoy.

I also keep a Tibetan Singing Bowl in my gym. I love ending a workout with a few moments of focusing on the sounds from the signing bowl + some positive affirmations. It genuinely makes a difference in setting the tone for my day. If you aren’t familiar with them, we still have some spots left for the sound bath with Moka Yoga next Wednesday! *IT TAKES A VILLAGE*

One of my BFFs recently brought up how we used to get annoyed with having to stop in the Village so she could hit up the Solvay Bank ATM when we were in high school. We grew up just up the road and there wasn’t much in the Village or a reason to stop down aside from that bank.😂 Fast forward to today and it genuinely makes me so happy to see the Village thriving, every little shop + business is someone’s unique dream come to life that draws in people from all over the area and reminds lifelong locals of the thriving Village of decades ago!

I love time with loved ones or off exploring. Even when I’m spending time this way - work, my clients and my to do list are always on my mind. I think it’s because I love what I do and it’s also just the way my personality is. Does anyone else freak out about everything they have to do before / after they go away even when it’s just for a couple days or is that just me? 🤪

I’ve been doing a lot of research lately on one of the conditions I am seeing on repeat with my clients. Being able to notice trends woven through so many unique clients is so interesting to me. Once I start noticing it I feel like it shows up everywhere! Anyone have any guesses on some of the top health issues my clients / people are facing right now?!

Crazy that it’s been 10 days since the great Ins

Crazy that it’s been 10 days since the great Instagram/Fbook shut down of 2021. 😆 When it happened, I was here in the middle of Virginia for the day where I had intermittent reception as I wandered in the woods in a national park, hiked along a trail to a waterfall in a state park, drove along the Blue Ridge Parkway, encountered too many snakes and spelunked for the first time ever! It was soul refreshing MAGIC!

Social media is a double-edged sword. I love being able to see the bits of the human experience people choose to share and I LOVE the connection that it brings. At the same time – it can be ridiculously overwhelming.

ANYWAY– I am so happy that I get to create connections with my clients face to face and virtually where I work with them to help meet their needs. In the last month I have worked on helping clients navigate: high blood pressure, IBS, a new food allergy diagnosis for a child, achieving a medication cessation, PCOS and just getting a better understanding of food/supplements.
